I love summarizing stuff, If there was a job for summarizing stuff I’d probably do it for free.

I find most often that I have trouble reading school/college books, but whenever I want to summarize such a book everything seems to click.

I sorta start thinking about other people and how someone else would be confused by the book’s content, and it becomes a battle between me and the original author. Who will create the most stripped down understable expression of the idea?

And the result of that battle does not have to be a victory for me because I end up always learning what I wanted to learn from the book, so it’s always a win-win sitaution.

Hands-down this is my best learning technique amongst other passive learning and just general tinkering with the subject.

So for college, most of the time that there’s a test I try to summarize whatever is going on and publish it to the rest of students, in-case they have trouble understanding like me…
